Shriya Saran who was seen in super hit Sivaji- The Boss last year was almost vanished from the kollywood industry. Nayan and Namitha lead the pack of heroines with their films.  But the sweet looking lady terms the year 2008 as a enriching year as per her professional career. She lists this year as one of the best as she had the opportunity to work with impeccable actors such as Vikram in Kanthasammy and Jaggu Bhai with Sarath Kumar.

Moreover, the pretty actress is also working in the movie of Kamal Hassan’s next which is said to be a comedy thriller. Shriya will be seen in a glamorous role and the photo shoot of the film will take place in December last week. Already, the news is out that the pretty lady has been roped into a cameo role in Kamal’s Magnum Opus Marmayogi.  

Shriya is also in the movie of actor Dhanush which will release in a couple of months. Actor Vishal has signed her for his next bilingual movie which will take the floors early 2009. Adding to all this Shriya is into an English film of Deepa Mehta and is also going to act with Ace Hindi star Akshay Kumar.

So, with all the riches gathered in the year 2008, Shriya relishes this year as a luckiest one.

Kamal Hassan who is busy with his next film project “Thalaivan Irrukindran” before his magnum opus Marmayogi has decided to prefer Shriya than Trisha. Kamal’s Marmayogi has been postponed for a month time and meanwhile his next film which will be on commercial basis is planned to be made in 4 months time. Thalaivan Irrukindran demands a lot of skin show from the female lead and so Actress Shriya has been given a chance to show her curves in this movie. 

It is a fact that Shriya is a glam doll of south Indian cinema industry as she has done her role alongside big heroes like Rajinikanth, Vikram and Vijay. But till date she was        unseen alongside Kamal Hassan. Now she is into the next project of Kamal Hassan whish will be totally a commercial movie with ingredients such as Action and comedy dominating the film. 

It is a fact that Trisha is against skin show and so Kamal choose Shriya and has kept Trisha for his Marmayogi as it is a subject which needs acting skills than skin show.

Malayalam Beauty Nayantara is said to be a stubborn girl when it comes to her personnel of professional life. It is a fact that Trisha is now a friend turned enemy to Nayan and due to this reason; Nayan is making the whole Malluwood against Trisha. Recently, it was heard that Shriya spoke some ill words about Nayan and said that she was a senior to Nayantara in the film industry. This made the mallu beauty furious and has challenged Shriya to enter Malayalam film industry without her consent.  

Nayan also revealed that she has acted with all the stalwarts of Malluwood and Kollywood and Shriya is just a budding star who has just acted with few South Indian film stalwarts and has a long way to go.

Previously it was rumored that Trisha denies the Malayalam film offers due to a threat from Nayantara as it is her home ground. But now, Shriya has joined Trisha and Nayan on the sets of her next film has openly challenged the two beauties to enter malluwood and with out her consent.
