The buzz is that the ‘Khan’daan hanger-on Amrita Arora is fed up being in the forever struggling mode (only doing movies with family and friends like Kareena) and is set to get married soon.

Close friends of the actress has claimed that this time it’s for real and unlike the short term serial dating she did with the likes of Kamaal Khan, Ashmit Patel, Upen Patel and Usman Afzal.

The object of Amu’s affection is Hyderabadi businessman Shakeel Ladak this time round.

The big fat wedding is supposed to take place in March 2009 but she’s not willing to confirm or deny the news. She maintains that she’ll divulge things when everything is fine. Maybe she’s getting superstitious and too possessive about the whole thing.

The word is that banquet halls are being hunted for. There is supposed to be a grand reception in Mumbai, while the marriage itself will be a beautiful church wedding in Goa – something that Amrita has always wanted.

There is a strong chance that best friend Kareena is set to turn bridesmaid at the Goan do.

This one is sure to be a true blue filmi shaadi!

Kareena Kapoor has made no bones about not liking Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This dislike must have a lot to do with the Karisma- Abhishek breakup and Ash being such a fine replacement of her elder sister Karisma as the Bachchan bahu.

The Bachchans have talked about how Ash is the perfect daughter in-law and Karisma really wasn’t homely enough for them! Or it might have something to do with Ash still being considered ethereally beautiful and very much in competition despite being older and not having too many big hits!

The latest is that Kareena Kapoor hadn’t really turned down a role opposite Hollywood actor Johnny Depp because of date problems. It had a lot to with Ash.

According to a source, "Three years ago, Gurinder Chadda who offered her this role, wanted Kareena for Bride & Prejudice.

Kareena naturally presumed it was the lead. She was shocked to know the director actually wanted her to play Aishwarya’s youngest sister’s part for which the lesser know Piya Rai Choudhary was signed later. Bebo was irked at being offered the fourth lead and vowed never to work with her again.

Now when a new Gurinder Chadha film was offered to Kareena she quickly said no without hesitation."

Kareena on her part has been a little diplomatic this time around. She says that she’ll only take up something that’s substantial. She won’t go international unless it’s something really big and isn’t sure whether Gurinder’s offer was with Johnny Depp or not as the role didn’t interest her at all.

All we can say is that Kareena is rocking in B-Town her own way. It’s high time she only does her thing and stops thinking so much about the tremendous beauty and international appeal of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After all, Ash hasn’t really cared to react to her cribbing!

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have been together for more than a year now. Her love life with Shahid Kapur never really made so much news but with Saif, she’s been painting the town red for months now. They have been ‘joined at the hip’ and their off screen pairing has made more news than their careers.

Bebo has recently opened up more in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine and has talked in detail about family approval, marriage, kids and the challenges of being in love.

She’s said, "I want to get married and have children. I would do anything to keep a relationship going. For me, time is a very precious commodity and I’m always there for Saif.

And that says a lot. It’s very easy to talk about fidelity, loyalty and swimming the seven seas but considering the lives we lead, I think the most important thing in a relationship is the amount of time you can spend with each other."
