She was once the most sought after anchor for all programs and stage events and though she was barely out of school, she still managed to look eye to eye with some mighty names like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and others. She is none other than the bubbly girl Swathy who progressed to films slowly and got the name of ‘Colors’ Swathy after her splendid performance in the film.
Now, Swathy has gone a step further and was recently seen making her debut in the Tamil industry with the film ‘Subramaniapuram’ and luckily for her, the film has been getting some real decent response from the audience and Swathy has played the role of a timid girl in this movie which has been set on the backdrop of the eighties.
Apparently, Swathy’s best performance was the hit film ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhaalu Verule’ where she stole the limelight with her act and grapevine says that it was this that prompted director Selvaraghavan to recommend her name to the Tamil producers and the results are already showing their effects.
